He has performed for tens of thousands of people on such highly celebrated stages as the Petrillo Music Shell in Grant Park, Chicago, the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis and the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago. He has shared the stage with a host of legendary music artists such as Speech, Chuckaluck and Ron “Big City” Goodwin.

Steve graduated in 1992 with a degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Minnesota. In addition to appearing on recordings of other people’s music, he has produced several full length CDs – The Dream Highway, Au Naturale, Twelve Songs of Christmas and Through Water & Fire. He describes his sound as Tom Petty and Pink Floyd meet Tony Robbins. His music is healing and inspirational, uplifting and transformational.

As a Teacher
Steve has made a difference as a teacher. He has taught Environmental Science as well as Band and Music Appreciation at the high school level. Steve has also taught private music lessons since he graduated from college.
As an Entrepreneur
Steve is not only a very creative people-person, but he is also a very technically savvy web developer and online marketer. Steve began building his own business as a freelance web designer in 2001. He still helps other entrepreneurs and small companies build their businesses through smart web design and online marketing strategies.
As a Family Man
Steve’s main pride and joy is his family. Married in 1999 to his lovely wife Stephanie, Steve and his wife enjoy life with their two amazing, talented, beautiful and brilliant daughters; Christa and Carley. Hobbies and Passtimes
Steve is an avid fan of the outdoors. He enjoys going for walks outside, yes, even in the bitter cold Chicago winters, bike riding as often as possible, listening to podcasts, playing billiards, cribbage, listening to classic rock (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, Steely Dan, Radiohead) and Classical music (Beethoven, Mozart). He loves grilling, cooking, making fresh salsa, herbal tea, Arnold Palmers, Belgian wheat ale, merlot, photography – especially of the outdoors, reading, journaling and meditation.
