Are you a citizen?
Of course you are. As such you are entitled to make a difference in your community!
That’s the message that I brought to the 4th through 6th graders this past Thursday at Ebinger Elementary School…
We had an absolute blast telling stories and singing together. It’s a new program I call “You are the Difference in Your Community.”
{!firstname}, it doesn’t matter what grade you’re in, how old you are, what your education or skill level is. The fact is that you can be the difference in your community!
There is a song that was released in 1978 by a rock band called Trooper. In it they sing…
“If you don’t like what you got, why don’t you change it?
If your world is all screwed up, then rearrange it…
If you don’t like what you see, why don’t you fight it?
If you know there’s something wrong why don’t you right it?”
