First of all, it’s been an INCREDIBLY beautiful week here in
Chicago! I went for a walk in my favorite place – the Bunker Hill
Forest Preserve – on Friday morning. It was foggy, and the sun was
bursting through the trees. It made for a spectacular show! I took
a bunch of pics and posted the best on Facebook.
Check out the rest of the pics here [

even “Like” the page if you haven’t yet!)
Secondly, I had a very interesting day on Monday. I played for a
showcase that was previewing 5 new musicals. If you’ve ever
wondered what a day in the life of a musician is, I wrote a blog
post about it that you can check out here [
https://stevepederson.com/gig-day-a-journey/ ]. I’ve got some photos
and video of a bunch of cool behind-the-scenes stuff there.
Next, my awesome wife Stephanie video-recorded our worship team
leading my song Get Ready for Rain at this morning’s worship
service. If you have a membership to my site, you can check out the
video here [ https://stevepederson.com/get-ready-for-rain/ ] – on my
members-only page.
If you haven’t signed up for a free membership yet, you can always
do that here [

Membership definitely has its privileges. Last week I sent out an
exclusive invite to members to join me in the VIP green room at my
gig on Monday at the City Winery.
Lastly, I’m really excited about going to St. Louis next weekend!
I’ll be joined by a couple friends for the 6 hour road trip. We’re
going down to attend Bob Baker’s Creative Entrepreneur Workshop.
(That’s Bob Baker, not Bob Barker – the old game show host.)
While down there, we’ll be joining the Gateway City Church in St.
Louis [ http://gatewaycitychurch.com/ ]. I’ve been in touch with
Jeff Mannel, the lead evangelist there, and have made arrangements
to play for the church and introduce them to one of my songs.
Any suggestions which one I should introduce them to?
I’m looking forward to telling you all about it in next week’s
update. I’m sure I’ll have plenty of photos, videos and stories to
share!
Until then…
