One of the questions I’ve been asked a lot lately is what I’ve been up to.
It’s pretty exciting, so I thought I’d share it with you. Hopefully this will inspire you in some way, as it has the several people I’ve told.
As you know, I released an album last year called The Dream Highway. Then, at the beginning of this year, I offered a 30-day group training program called 30 Days to the Dream Highway. In that group I helped several people get clearer on their dreams and develop a plan to go after them.
Currently I am working on taking that idea to the next level. I am putting together a self-paced home study course that will help people take their goals and dreams to the next level.
I told that to one of my friends this morning and she got so excited about it. She said she thinks that’s something that churches could really benefit from – helping people realize their God-given talents, dreams and desires.
I informed her that I am working on a version of the program specifically for churches as well.
She then asked me how I plan to get the word out about it. I told her that one way is that I am going to be interviewed for a podcast episode, and I will let all the listeners of their audience know about it. I will keep you updated about that podcast and the program as well.
Another cool thing that happened was, while I was having breakfast with a bunch of friends yesterday morning, one of the guys asked what everybody’s dreams were. When it got to me I replied by saying, “Well, it’s funny you should ask. Just this past week I wrote down a very specific outline of the vision I have for my life.”
I read that vision to them all, and they were really impressed by how much thought and detail I had put into it. So much so, that one of them asked if I could lead a discussion on it or put together some kind of study on the topic for them all.
It seems like this is something that is really needed!
And if that weren’t enough, there’s another project that I’m working on with my oldest daughter Christa. I am teaching her how to play the guitar, recording it on video, and am planning on releasing that as a home study guitar lesson course.
Lots of good times, and I’m loving it!
