Rain isn’t always fun. In fact, it can cause quite a few problems.
The result, though…
The result.
As I was riding my bike through the forest preserve one day this week, I noticed how green everything is – more green than I’ve ever seen!
We have been getting so much rain this year that things are looking like the Amazon rain forest! It’s beautiful.
Then, I came upon a group of trees that were bare. What a stark contrast…
No amount of rain is going to help those trees.
It made me think about our lives and our dreams. Without the rain, our dreams die. We have to keep them watered. We have to care for them and nurture them.
Whenever someone buys a copy of The Dream Highway CD, I sign the back of it with the words “Keep the dream alive!”
One way we can keep our dream alive is to continue to take consistent action to see it come to fruition. Even if it’s just a little bit each day.
After all, the forest in this picture did not get this way after one heavy rainfall.
My hope is that you will be inspired to continue to believe in your dream and “let it rain” by taking some action this week towards seeing it prosper. If you need a little inspiration, you can get your copy of The Dream Highway album here

Here’s to watering your dream!
