It’s definitely been an exciting time here in Chicago as the Cubs just won the World Series for the first time in 108 years! The Cubs even made an appearance on Saturday Night Live last night, along with celebrity Cubs fan Bill Murray. Good times.
One of the talking points about the Cubs has been the many “curses” that have supposedly kept them from winning, or even getting into, the World Series. Of course, these are all superstition, as are many things in baseball, but now we can say they are behind us.
I did find a very interesting correlation, though, between these superstitious curses and the potential curses we feel might be plaguing our own lives.
